A native of the Twin Cities (and current resident of Minneapolis), I began developing an interest in photography in high school, but really began to pursue it further starting in 2008. I now constantly consider how the world around me would look through a lens and regularly take walks with my camera (and wife, when she’ll humor me) for that express purpose. People, architecture, and nature are all interesting subjects that can catch my eye.
I’ve taken lots of photos at weddings in the capacity of an interested guest and will be shooting my first set of portraits and wedding reception candids in an official capacity in the spring of 2014.
Off-camera lighting, time-lapse photography, long-exposure, and panning shots are a few technical areas I’ve been working to master lately.
